09' Tri-City Volleyball Grand Prix: Baltimore. Philly. Asbury Park.

Welcome!

Charm City, Philly, and Asbury Park Volleyball are working together to offer a series of volleyball tournaments called Tri-City Volleyball Grand Prix. This series offers B, BB and A+ (one AA player allowed) divisions based on NAGVA rules and ratings. Baltimore and Philly  locations will act as  qualifiers for teams to qualify into the  final, hosted in Asbury Park. We are currently finalizing details, but top ranked teams from each qualifier will be given piority entry to the final. Similar to NAGVA championships, we are following the rules of 4 core players for each team. Medals and prizes will be awarded at the final location.

This is a great opportunity for teams to practice against other local teams! Teams that participated last year have gone onto medaling at NAGVA tournaments (Steel City, Big Apple, Charm City, and Championships) !!!!

Qualifier Format (Baltimore and Philly*):
(1) Pool Play - 4 matches of 2 games each. Beginning at 8am (Pool play rank based on win-loss record then earn point ratio).
(2) Single elimination. (i) One game sudden death (ii) Bracket Final is best of 3 games. 
*note: due to Philly's facility size, we will be doing B on Sat, and BB and A on Sunday.

Grand Prix Final Format (Asbury Park):
(1) Pool Play - 4 matches of 2 games each beginning at noon on Saturday. (Pool play rank based on win-loss record then earn point ratio).

(2) DOUBLE elimination (i) one game sudden death (ii) bracket final is best of 3 games.

Registration:
Baltimore and Philly Qualifier Fees = $150 for each city for 7 player team ($20 for each additional player).
Asbury Park Final Fees = TBA
